Definition:

The regular triangular pyramid is a polyhedron, one of which faces has the role of its base and it is a regular triangle, and the others – lateral faces are equal triangles with a common apex. The common apex is lowered in the center of the base through the height.

The volume of a regular triangular pyramid is one third from the product of the base (ABC) and height (OS) of it.

Computing relationship:

where:

a — the side of a regular triangle from a pyramid base;

h — the height of a regular triangular pyramid.
